Who

EverNever is the writer and developer behind Inkstone, the Companion Playbook, and The Great Library of Stories, a library of AI roleplay characters and lorebooks. Everything lives at evernever.org.

EverNever is a pen name and is used consistently across all platforms. EverNever has published AI character cards and lorebooks since late 2024 and writes essays on AI, craft, and character design on this site’s blog.

Projects

Inkstone — Inkstone is a private AI roleplay app by EverNever for Android and Windows. Chat with characters, build worlds and lorebooks, bring the AI provider of your choice, and keep everything on your device. Launched 2026. Website: getinkstone.com. Not affiliated with Inkstone News or any other product of the same name.

The Companion Playbook — The Companion Playbook is EverNever's free nine-chapter guide to AI character craft, covering character design, lorebook architecture, and field testing. It lives at evernever.org/playbook.

The Great Library of Stories — The Great Library of Stories is EverNever's library of AI character cards and lorebooks, published with open definitions, primarily on Chub.ai. Its shelves include the Khevari dark fantasy universe and the Strays & Outcasts series.

The Visceral Codex — The Visceral Codex is EverNever's 81,000-word reference lorebook for writing the human body without euphemism, available on Chub.ai.

Divisi — Divisi is EverNever's open-source orchestrator plugin, MIT-licensed at github.com/Realevernever/Divisi. One model conducts, delegating tasks to specialised worker models through editable Markdown routing rules. Tutti, but on your cue.

The Kept Voices — An archive project that preserved final outputs from deprecated AI models. Closed in 2026; the archive remains readable at evernever.org/voices.
